Building, riding, rain, and random tractors A reportage photography exhib from Bugs Boarding's Summer Sessions 2011, with photos by Decreate and a vid from ProjectDoc... Friday: Finishing the new features... Saturday: Rain, riding the new features, wallrides, rain, shenanigans, building a sk8 ramp in the marquee, rail sesh, watching double-backflip videos, nattering, seshing the sk8 ramp, dubstep, drinks, banter, campfire, guitar. Sunday: Less rain = Summer Sessions is on!Riders included Tom & Mick Kirkman, Joe Dickson, Laurie Barnes, Rory M-P, Josh Maddox, Dylan Warren, Andy Milenkovic, Matt Brind, Emlyn Bainbridge, Amon Shaw and more. Getting stuck in with a quarter-pipe session...Then on to the new downrail/drop into the bowl, step up to mini-quarter and rail back, with spot prizes for sickness... Tricks included grinds & boardslides all ways, thunderbug taps, dubstep donks, slacker stalls, dick-real-big rotations, fluoro flips, backside, frontside, you name it- it happened. Spot prizes included Dyl taking the sucker-gun for twisted taps on the rail, Mick won & rocked the legwarmers for effortless boardlides, Laurie took home some wrist guards for a one-footer off the northshore, Rory should have got some armour for his boardslide to backslide, Emlyn got some new MBS heelstraps for some sweet stalls, a few peeps got dvd's, a shiny new MBS helmet, some Top Trumps, and everyone got a chocolate muffin. Sweet. Rem Random Tractor Trophies went to newbie Craig for getting stuck in & doing good (1st time in the Q!), Emlyn for solid consistency, and Andy for international newcomer & woh switch McTwists in the Q...
Overall winner rider who didn't win anything in particular was Tom who rode at least twice as much as everyone else and made it all look so effortless and steezy, ie bs boardslide, to frontflip off the step-up, 3 in the mini-quarter to fs boardslide out.
